New faces on Energi Danmark’s Management Team

The energy trading company Energi Danmark is adding two new faces to its Management Team. Ole Joachim Jensen is the company’s new CFO. He has served as interim CFO since December 2023 and in this role also been part of Energi Danmark’s Management Team. He is now assuming the role of CFO on a permanent basis.

Dorthe Rømer Frost has been employed in a newly created position as Senior Vice President responsible for People Communications & ESG. In this position, she will also become part of Energi Danmark’s Management Team and the company’s day-to-day management.

Ole Joachim Jensen comes from the position as interim CFO at Energi Danmark; a role he has held since December 2023. Prior to that, he was CFO of the assistance organisation SOS International for ten years. For ten years before that, he was CFO of the Danish insurance group Alm. Brand Group, while also acting as CEO of Alm. Brand Bank.

“Having worked as a CFO for more than 25 years, Ole will bring great credibility and valuable experience to Energi Danmark. He has considerable skills in areas such as risk management and governance, which are important parameters in the development Energi Danmark is currently undergoing,” says Louise Hahn about her appointment of Ole Joachim Jensen.

Dorthe Rømer Frost’s former position was as Head of Marketing & Communication at Global Connect. A job she has had for about four years. Previously, Dorthe Rømer Frost spent six years in a similar position at the energy company Ørsted.

“Dorthe has extensive knowledge of the energy industry. We have worked closely together in the past, and I know her as a decent and capable person. She will be able to get the company’s message across to our customers, which is an important part of Energi Danmark’s day-to-day tasks of helping our customers select the right energy solutions as part of completing their green transition,” says Louise Hahn about her appointment of Dorthe Rømer Frost.
